Groundbreaking Ceremony of Western Luzon 500kV Backbone Project (Stage 2)

SLDCC joined stakeholders, client representatives, and project partners during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Western Luzon 500kV Backbone Project (Stage 2), formally marking the start of works for Schedule I covering the Castillejos 500kV, Balsik 500kV, and Castillejos 230kV substation portions.

The milestone reflects continued progress in supporting critical transmission infrastructure that helps strengthen grid reliability and power delivery capability in Western Luzon. The event also highlighted collaboration across project teams, clients, and partner organizations working toward safe and timely implementation.
